Ray has been a professional singer for many years and his talent has taken him all all over europe.

He first started singing country music when he was just 14 years old and was very much influenced by the music of The Beatles and Jim Reeves. He was brought up in Whitby North Yorkshire.

Ray became popular doing the pubs and clubs all over Yorkshire, but as he became more and more popular throughout England he then went on to do many international tours.

Ray had his first professional band (The Harbour Lights) when he was 16 years old and together they toured England.

Ray went solo when he was 18 years old and travelled Europe, with many successful tours playing in front of enthusiastic crowds in Germany, Holland, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland.

During his career, ray has worked with many established and successful acts, including Stan Boardman, Bucks Fizz, Marmalade, Carl Denver and Jim Bowen.

Ray also won the command performance for singer of the year in 1988.

Debby, Ray's wife, only turned professional when they moved to Tenerife 7 years ago. Debby did sing in England on some of Ray's shows and also taught line dancing.

Debby too, also travelled with ray to switzerland on a number of occasions, where they did duo work.

Ray and Debby can now be found in the Acapulco Bar, Las Americas, Tenerife.
